Win a Trip to 2026 BCA National Championships in Las Vegas
WHAT IS A SINGLES QUALIFIER?
A Singles Qualifier is an 8-ball event for RPL members, past and present and future, to compete in a bracket consisting of eight players with one advancing to the RPL Vegas Singles Playoffs for a chance to win a trip to the 2026 BCA National Championships in Las Vegas.
HOW MANY SINGLES QUALIFIERS ARE HELD?
Singles Qualifiers will run once a month with the FINAL competition held at end of the RPL session to determine the winner of the trip. Each bracket consists of only eight players so there is a 1 in 8 chance of winning an invite to the FINALS to win the trip. The current dates are March 2nd (Sunday), April 5th (Saturday), and May 4th (Saturday) all starting at 1pm at Billiard Breakdown.
HOW DO I REGISTER TO PLAY IN THE SINGLES QUALIFIERS?
Contact our Tournament Host, Christine Strong, to secure your spot in a bracket or register via our form. Send $35 ($25 Entry + $10GF) via Cashapp ($RochesterPool) or Cash (to Damon or Adam). If you choose to show up on the event day without a prepay, there is no guarantee there will be a spot available for you to participate. New brackets are only opened when 8 players are “in”. HOW MANY SINGLES BRACKETS ARE RUN EACH EVENT?
There will be a new bracket opened for every eight players signed up. One month there could be 3 brackets while another only 2, it all depends on how many players sign up for their chance to play and win.
I LOST A SINGLES QUALIFIER NOW WHAT?
Any player who did not take 1st in their bracket is welcome to try again on another bracket. There is no limit to how many times a player can attempt to win a bracket during the season.
I WON A SINGLES QUALIFER NOW WHAT?
The winner of each singles bracket will advance to play in the FINALS. There is no cost for the winner of the qualifier bracket to participate in the final competition event.
WHAT DOES THE TOP PLAYER OF THE FINAL WIN?
The winner of the FINAL competition bracket will receive $1200 to compete at the 2026 BCA National Championships in Las Vegas. If winner chooses not to attend, he/she forfeits the monies and the 2nd place player will be invited to attend in his place.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
BCA 8 Ball. FargoRate HOT R5 Chart. Must have 200 robustness. Lag for 1st Break. Winner Breaks. RYO. Winner of FINALS must have 8 games played in at least one session in the year leading up to the 2026 BCA National Championships event.
